NON-MOE LISTED UNIVERSITIES OF CHINA
The latest list of Chinese Ministry of Education approved 163 medical universities in China which offer MBBS in English and in Bilingual medium that has been released. The list has been released every year since 2007 when “Provisions for Quality Control Standards on Undergraduate Medical Education for International Student in China” were introduced.
The list is maintained by the National Western Medical Education Expert Group which continually assesses medical schools in China to determine whether they are qualified to offer MBBS programs.
Benefits Of NON MOE Listed Universities:
Medical Education is in Bilingual Medium throughout the 5 years.
These universities offer less/half fee comparatively to MOE Listed universities.
The only difference between MOE listed and Non Listed Universities is that , students have to study 1st year chinese language in Non listed Universities.
MBBS Course Duration is 5(1+4) years MBBS (Including Chinese) + 1 year Internship. Non MOE Listed Universities teach Medical Subjects from the Second Year. Need to pass HSK-3 or HSK-4 (Chinese Proficiency Test) in 1st year. MBBS Degree from all Chinese Medical Universities is acceptable all over the world. Graduates are eligible to apply for e.g. USMLE, PLAB, AMC, NMC, BMDC, SLMC etc.
